Shweta Kawaatra is an actor, entrepreneur, and devoted parent and wife. She practices Buddhism and is a member of the Soka Gakkai. She is best known for her role as Pallavi Agarwal in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and as Nivedita Mittal in Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan. She has had appearances in many other TV serials, most notably in C.I.D.. Shweta appears in Sawal E Ishq to answer love questions on Fame Bollywood. She played Bhayankar Pari in Baal veer.

A postpartum depression survivor, Shweta advocates for women’s health, child safety, mental well-being, sexuality education, and alternative medicine. Her mission is in breaking taboos and she remains committed to empowering & educating women, parents and youth to inspire resilience, awareness, and positive change.

Through her work as Kindness Ambassador for the foundation, Shweta lends her voice and influence for mental health, new mothers struggling with postpartum depression , normalising menopause and awareness on handling mental well-being and inclusivity.
