Binal Shah is a Mumbai-based, Certified Music Therapist and the Founder of Aaroha Music Therapy, an independent practice working across clinical, community, and non-profit settings. She offers individual, group, and community-based music therapy interventions in both offline and online formats, with a strong focus on accessibility and holistic care.
Her work spans across all mental health areas and clinical areas like women’s health, cancer-care, neurological rehabilitation, cardiological care and music-assisted speech rehabilitation.
Binal holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Music Therapy (Medicine) from the Chennai School of Music Therapy (CSMT), where she received intensive training in psychological foundations, neuroscience, psychoneuroimmunology, and clinical applications of music therapy while working with multidisciplinary medical teams.
Through her work, Binal is committed to integrating music therapy into mainstream healthcare and community-based interventions, particularly within non-profit, public health, and outreach-driven environments.
Binal is using music therapy as an accessible, human-centred intervention to improve mental health, medical recovery, and caregiver well-being, thereby changing lives, one musical note, at a time!
