Our programs
Our programs focus on reducing disease risk. Our projects focus on sustainable nutrition to reduce CO2 emissions and hence reduce burden on non-communicable diseases and malnutritions in humans
Reducing burden of cancer
In 2020, India had 1.38 million new cancer cases, which is 7.5% of the world’s new cancer cases. In 2040, India’s cancer cases are projected to increase by 57.5%.
India is the third largest country in terms of the number of cancer cases after China and the United States of America. In terms of cancer-related deaths, India ranks second after China. Our Cancer Prevention, Early Diagnostics and Awareness Programs with Hospitals, Communities and the Underprivileged aligns with Goal 3 of UNSGD. 14 camps all India and growing. We are guided in prevention by our Advisor Board Member, Dr Bharat Bhosale, Oncologist.

पोषणKIDS

India carries one of the highest burdens of child malnutrition in the world
- 35.5% of children are stunted
- 19.3% are wasted
- 32.1% are underweight
- 67.1% suffer from anaemia
Malnutrition is a serious health condition that occurs when the body does not receive the right amount of nutrients. According to the WHO, malnutrition includes deficiencies, excesses, or imbalances in energy and nutrient intake. It affects people of all ages, especially children, and remains one of the biggest global public health challenges. Join us in this eradication.
Rising NCDs burden
Diabetes and arthritis are part of rising NCDs. Rapid increase across India is due to poor awareness, access to nutrition, healthcare and information
- Sedentary lifestyle, malnutrition, stress, and lack of preventive screening are major contributors.
- India numbers exceed 90 million
The areas around DHR India HQ have slums and underprivileged communities, who have limited or no access to healthcare, nutrition, or education to combat the burden of Type 2 Diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and arthritis. Our outreach program covered 500 households and provide diagnostic services as well as medical consultation to 200 people within these households.

Camps for security forces

The Armed Forces, whether it is the Army, Navy, Air Force or CISF, are always in a stressful environment and under continued alertness pressure. At a time like this, the mind and body get into chronic stress. The team at Kindness understands this and does periodic camps for the armed forces so that methods of stress release can be shared along with physical and emotional nutrition to enhance immunity.

Research & Awareness
As per the United Nations 2023 report, 2 in 3 people use the internet. The Internet then becomes the strongest tool to create awareness about the pillars of the foundation – mental health, nutrition and sustainability, in alignment with the UNSDG goals. Since February 2021, Unhurry® has been publishing science backed articles every day to help disseminate the right information about how mental health, nutrition and sustainable initiatives can help us individually. We publish science backed information daily on mental health, nutrition and sustainability. Aligns with Goal 17 of UNSGD.
